@4HorsemenDesign Don’t Want You to Have Any Money To Spend at #SDCC 2016 #MythicLegions
July 9, 2016

The Four Horsemen have taken the position that they do not want collectors to have any disposable income and they certainly do not want you buying any of the the exclusives or anything really at Comic Con.   They are doing this through a nafarious, calculated plot that they call code name: MYTHIC LEGIONS.

After a successful Kickstarter campaign that launched a 40 figure first wave, they then followed that up with a wave 1.5 that contained deluxe figures.  Now just 2 weeks away from SDCC they have launched the third attack on fans in the form of announcing a new Mythic Legions wave 1.75 that will go up for order right around comic con.

I used to like those guys… now they are just mean.

Below is the list of new figures that you will also not be able to resist:

Another reveal from the upcoming Mythic Legions 1.75 wave (real name of the wave to be revealed soon)! This time it’s another one of the bovine warriors. A guy we’re currently referring to as the Shadow Minotaur! His real name will be revealed just before the pre-order for wave 1.75 goes live through Store Horsemen, but longtime Four Horsemen fans might notice that we did a bit of an homage to those that have come before…

The Barbarian Builder Set from Mythic Legions 1.0 was one of the most popular of all of the Mythic Legions figures so far, and since then one of the most requested items since then has been a Knight Builder Set. Your wish is our command! And those of you who are fans of a classic fantasy toy line, you might notice a few more parts you’ll need for that custom figure you’ve been clamoring for…

Only a couple more Mythic Legions 1.75 reveals left to go, and this one today might be one that you remember peeking through that mysterious box of bubble wrapped paint-masters that we were sending over to the factory for production a couple weeks ago. The horrific Poison Skeleton!

4HMML175ForestKnight1 4HMML175ForestKnight2

Only one more Mythic Legions 1.75 reveal to go after this one and we’re betting that many of you already know who that’s going to be. But today we’re revealing the protector of the woodlands – the Forest Knight!!

You had to know this was coming. The final reveal for Mythic Legions 1.75 and the most often requested figure from Mythic Legions fans – the Black Knight!! We’ll be revealing the official name of this wave, each of the characters’ names, the prices, and the pre-order start date when they get posted to Store Horsemen sometime next week. Our current plan is to start pre-orders just before the beginning of the 2016 San Diego Comic Con, but that’s not 100% set in stone yet. More to come…

Daniel Pickett
Daniel “Julius Marx” Pickett has been around toys his whole life. The first line he ever collected was Mego’s World’s Greatest Super Heroes line back in the 70s. He has been surrounded by collectables ever since. In 1999 he was confounded by a lack of information and news about some of his favorite toy lines he was collecting. Since he couldn’t find the information he decided to pursue it himself thinking other people might also be interested in the same news. He started writing a weekly column on the toy industry and action figure for a toy news site and in a years time he tripled the sites daily traffic with his updates, reviews and product features. He built relationships with every major toy manufacturer and many sculptors, painters and mold makers. He grew his hobby into a world wide expertise that the industry has embraced. In 2004 he teamed up with his toy buddy Jason “ToyOtter” Geyer and they created their own website www.ActionFigureInsider.com. Daniel has been quoted in both industry and mass media press outlets. Over the years Daniel and AFi have been sought out as experts in the field. Daniel was regularly featured on “Attack of the Show” on the G4 network as the primary contributor to their “Mint On Card” segment, and our front page has been linked to from USA Today’s “Pop Candy” Blog twice. Daniel’s content has also been featured on MSNBC.com, Time.com, The Wall Street Journal, The Saturday Evening Post, CNN.com, AssociatedPress.com Wired.com, Fark.com, Boing-Boing, Gizmodo.com, Ain’t It Cool News, the Official Star Wars blog, Geekologie, G4, CNet and Toy Fare magazine, among many others. He has consulted on toy lines, books, documentaries and TV shows. But all of that really just sounds snooty and “tootin’ his own horn” – the long and short of it is that Daniel loves toys and he LOVES talking about them.
