In 1992 a new and exciting animated series debuted on the Fox network. Batman: The Animated Series garnered high ratings and critical acclaim before being callously dumped due to the diminishing profitability of continuing. Before this occured though, BTAS left in it's wake many products that were cashing in on the merchandising bonanza of all things Batman. This page is centered on just one of those products, The BTAS Action Figure line.

BTAS action figures were first released in the spring of 1993. They were immediate collectibles and continued to be for the next two years. Unfortunately, the line has recently deteriorated due to the proliferation of multiple variations of Batman and Robin and lack of production of any significant quantities of villains. Therefore, this page concentrates mostly on the villains and the main Batman and Robin figures.

In recent years, the Kids WB! picked up the series and it was redesigned to make the animation more streamlined and allowed Kenner/Hasbro to reintroduce the line with the new designs. Sadly, it wasn't long before they dropped any pretense of doing new figures and returned to strictly repaint assortments, going as far as to use the old body type for some reason.

The most recent series is featured at the top of the menu, with the old archive continuing on the bottom. Enjoy!

The page divides the various figures into "waves" or series. The classifications are set by me, so if you disagree with a designation, write me. However, I do not have anything on these pages for sale, nor do I know where you can find them.If you E-Mail me asking for toys I will just delete your message, so don't do it!And now, here are the waves.
