The packaging has been a huge misstep from day one. For all of the complaining Mattel does about "resources better used elsewhere" why put so much effort and time into the packaging for DCUC AND hiring a freelance illustrator when every dime that goes into the line is precious?

As for less accessories, etc. How about just not wasting out money on figures no one wants or ones that are crazy out of scale just to use existing sculpts and tools that save Mattel cash, but offer zero savings to consumers?

Bottom line for me: unless they reveal at least 80% of the 2014 choices before the subscription deadline, I'm not committing even if they price drops to $16 per figure.
