and I don't want to speak for the original poster, but - Mattel floods the market with these day-glo Batman rehashes. People eventually realize they're getting nothing but Batman after Batman (Night Assault Batman! Jungle Cutter Batman, Sewer Sweeper Batman!) and none of them are really Batman-ish at all. People stop buying them, they rot on the pegs. Mattel cans Batman/superhero toys cuz they don't sell.
