How "Geek Shall Inherit" broke my heart...

Like many of you, I've really thoroughly enjoying the Geek Shall Inherit podcast with our own Daniel Picket and AFi Man of Action and Bif Bang Pow honcho, Jason Lenzi. (If you haven't gave it a listen yet, do it! You're missing out!)...

This morning I was listening to the latest episode (009, I believe) and Daniel alluded to some rumors he'd heard about a possible John Carter line. I turned up the volume, listening even more intently that I had been. I had been hoping for John Carter figures, but with the movie coming out early next month we should have heard SOMETHING by now. Heck, they should be in stores by now. So, it looks like no toys for John Carter. But, alas, did Daniel possess a ray of hope!

Ah, but then as he was talking...and mentioned Mezco...and comments from Mezco about visiting the Angry Red Planet...it became clear to me that the line in question was, indeed, NOT John Carter but Mars Attacks.

Now, I'm excited about Mars Attacks...but, dang it, I really was hoping for a nice 4" John Carter line!
