I didn’t know he ran for governor. But I do remember that last year, he eyed a seat in the US Senate.

Thanks, Pete. I had forgotten that back in ’03 Sonny Landham also ran for governor (of Kentucky.) Probably figured three times a charm.

Oh, and let me add this addendum: there was also a Galoob Micro Machines Blain w/ Gatlin Gun Micro Machines “figure.” I overlooked that!

Nice write-up Dan. It would really have been cool to see Jesse’s facial expression when you posed that question.

As for action figures, I really wish Hot Toys can make one of Blain as part of their upcoming Predator line. So far they’re sure to have Dutch (Arnie), Billy (played by Sonny Landham) and the Predator. IMHO, Blain with a Gatling gun could even potentially outsell the Dutch figure
