I was working in Indio, CA and took a day off and attended the con on Sat. I was surprised to see how many people showed and how many costumes there were. I hope I get a chance to attend next year too. It was a lot better then I thought it would be.

I met Daniel and Dawna at WonderCon last year and picked up one of his books. He does some beautiful work. I highly recommend his stuff, especially for kids!

Those Green Lantern, Dengar, and Penguin costumes came out really cool. Sounds like a good time was had by all!

Great story about Richard signing the briefing set. He looks like a really nice guy. I like to think that given Motti’s attitude towards Vader, he probably high-tailed it out of the Death Star after things got hot over Yavin. Might make for some good EU material.

You know, I keep seeing flyers for this at my comic store and similar places. I figure nothing can match Comicon so why bother going? But your pictures are tempting. I just might hit the next one.
