What I find interesting is that Hawkman is holding his mace. Cool find Chip! Too bad you were not into these things in the early Ebay days. So many unique items to be had. Most of the time dirt cheap. I wanted to get them but I was concentrating on getting an entire US C-9 carded collection.

Who knew that General Mills was a toy manufacturer? And here I thought that all they were good for was breakfast cereal…

ALl in all … Thanks for the spotlight on Hawkman, he was the 1st Super Powers figure I ever purchased and put a fairly constant beatdown on my Kalibak (which happened to be the 2nd figure I ever purchased, the rest I received as gifts or were acquired with Gramma’s money ).

Enjoying these immensely. After doing some of mine, I appreciate the time investment considering the photography. Even when you know the topic inside out, putting it altogether can take hours.

Man, that does suck about the auction, but at least you weren’t completely screwed.

Once again a very informative article. I never knew such things existed. It’s really cool seeing the great rarites of one of my favorite toylines.

Ugh. That’s the bad thing about ebay. Even when you win in the end, you still lose. You’re out the item, and you had to go through a hassle to get your money back. On top of that, you have to restart your search.

Having said that, thanks very much for sharing. I’m really enjoying this blog series, and can’t wait for the next one. Perhaps you could do a feature on the Super Amigos?

very funny, and fun stuff. bummer about the auction, but at least you got your flow back. how do you search for such a specific item on ebay? is it just a SP search, or do you search from foreign sellers only? an any case, another very cool sample, thanks for sharing!
