Congratulations on your initial blog, Jason. I loved the 70's Tarzan as a kid along with Thundarr the Barbarian. Still haven't watched the Flash Gordon animated series even though I read nothing but kudos and praise regarding it. The late Bob Ridgely did the voices for all three leads and he is still sorely missed. I have watched the live action Flash Gordon film several times now and I love it! Looking forward to your stories about tapping into the toy franchise. Welcome to AFI!

let me be the first vistor to welcome you as for why the flash movie did not have toys back then the toy tie in to movie trend was still in its infancy plus the movie did not do really good box office numbers to the suits. but nice someone is trying to rectify that error

Hey Jason! Welcome to the MoA. Really enjoyed your first installment. I've also appreciated your presence on Daniel's Comic-Con panels the last couple years. Look forward to hearing more from ya! And thanks to BBP! for filling some obvious holes in the action figure world.

I'm also a fan of the Filmation Flash Gordon cartoon and figures. In fact, that was the subject of one of my first blogs here:

Not sure if you're into this stuff too, but there is a new book about Al Williamson's contribution to the Flash Gordon epic. A relative of mine and friend of Al's has an autographed copy for me!
