Yeah, I’ve been wondering he same thing, but not getting my hopes up. Mattel has stated in the past they believe 4″ to be kids scale, while 6″ is collector scale.

Mattel has shown us the first 2 waves, a total of 8 figures from the DC All-Stars. With only Larfleeze shown at NYCC in October, I do not expect them to show more than that.

exactly what the new dc all star line will really look like for retail from mattel and if it will include wonder woman down the road plus. the return of marvel legends and if the rumored avengers quin jet will be a baf or whole. plus finaly hobbit toys including Smaug in plastic finaly.

I’m very curious to see how Mattel intends to apologize for the abysmal 4-inch scale “Green Lantern” line with truly competitive figures based on “The Dark Knight Rises.” I know they’ll be offering Movie Masters figures in the larger 6-inch scale but given the virtually universal panning the GL line got, I’m hoping they’ve finally learned a lesson about catering to collectors of 1/18 scale figures and are prepared to step up their game.

But I ain’t holdin’ my breath.

Well, I’m still thinking about all the stuff I bought last year which is still in the package waiting to get out. Young Justice 6 inch figures. DC Direct I picked up at NYCC and the annual sale at a local shop. Dozens of HeroClix that I’ve acquired in the past 3 weeks. My NYCC commemorative Tshirt is still in its wrapper. So much stuff that when I went to Wal-mart last evening and saw the DCUC Crime Syndicate 5 pack at the reduced price of 37.40 that I just said “No.”

Next year? I’d like to see someone finally make a 6 inch scale Rocket Red.
