Matty royally ticked me off for 2 reasons. The “new” wave of figures offered in Nov.
First, telling me the doom patrol, justice guild, shazam family, lobo and gotham villan sets were all “gone for good” last yr (doom patrol was offered maybe 2 weeks). Then i go on amazon and ebay thru out the yr and buy them majorly marked up because they are no longer available. now miraculously there are plenty of them and they are on sale again.
Second, the JLU exclusive for this year is a parademon 2 pack. so i can buy 2 exactly the same figures and pay 25 for the priviledge of it. no thanks.
Until Matty releases a gypsy or granny goodness figure i’m done.

It’s one of two figures I wanted to order that I whiffed on (the other was Evil Lynn). It’s disconcerting that it’s “Gone for good” on the site. I would think the regular version would come back.

It is a great line, though, and the only vintage re-imagining of sorts that has removed the desire for me to collect the actual vintage line. Matty issues aside, the toys are great!
