This economy has made many of us re-prioritize our spending. That gave me an idea. What if you had a tight budget for toys and collectibles? Could you build a collection 10$ at a time? What can you get for 10$?
#1. How about Justice League Unlimited Season 2 on DVD? It was $9 when I was at Walmart last week. What do you get for your money? 13 episodes, the whole last season of JLU to watch as often as you want. We know for some of us, that is a lot. This is the "Legion of Doom" season, where Grodd and then Luthor lead a band of villains against the heroes until they accidentally revive Darkseid forcing the two groups to team up for a final battle to save Earth.
You already have JLU season 2? How about The Batman Season 5. That was also in the 9$ section. Season 5 moves forward on the idea of other heroes outside of Gotham and a Justice League. Over the course of the season, Batman teams up with Superman, Flash, Hawkman, Green Lantern, and Green Arrow. The last two episodes are combined team up in great Justice League fashion. Again, this set gives you the whole season of 13 episodes to watch again and again.
I’m sure there were a few other DVD sets of interest to our usual readers there within this same price point, but I’m not as familiar with some of them and cannot verify their contents. Ultimate Avengers. Fantastic Four. …

Wow! Thanks… I may get that Batman one. Last year Boomerang or Cartoon Network ran it, but they only ran a few episodes. I liked what I saw, though it did take adjustment (after spending all those years on B:TAS.
I picked up a Super Friends, Vol. 2 at Big Lots for $6 and went back a couple of days ago and found Batman: TAS, Season 4 for $3 (and several other $3 finds as well as an incredible Looney Tunes Golden Collection (5 volumes) for $10.
