Someone seems to not care about the new episodes of Batman Brave and Bold. I love this series, but advertising for the new episodes seems to be missing.
Cartoon Network has been talking about 4 premieres for last night, Friday 9/17, for over a week. Clone Wars. Some other new shows. But never mentioned Batman Brave and Bold.
The Batman Brave and Bold page on Facebook has been gone for weeks. They used to put preview clips on their page several days before a new episode would be shown.
Newsarama.com, which also ran the preview clips had no mention of new episodes.
So last night, I was sitting at my computer, playing Super Hero City, waiting for 7:30 when BBB is usually on. I turned on the TV 5 minutes early and was greeted with the last 5 minutes of a brand new episode of Batman Brave and Bold. That is right, I missed almost the whole thing.
I miss the old days when shows would be repeated again on another night of the week. Now who knows when I’ll be able to see the whole episode.
Kind of reminds me of the advertising Justice League Unlimited got. Lots of commercials for Zatch Bell during the evening, but never one for Justice League.
Hey CN/WB. Lets get those preview clips back out to the web sites, along with any schedule changes, so we know when the show is going to be on. It does have its fans.
(Ben 10 Ultimate Alien was a repeat, and Generator Rex was not even shown).
So, anyone know when the newer episodes will be repeated (This was part 2 of the big Starro story paying off, but I was not even aware that part 1 had aired.)?
Sorry to hear you missed it.
Actually, it was part one of the Starro finale, part 2 airs next week. If you got part 2 in your area, then each region is hsowing these episodes differently which would be really odd.
It was a good fun and featured just about EVERYBODY in the DCU (not to rub it in) but us fanboys are going to spend about a month trying to identify everyone that made and appearance. Even Sugar and Spice got some air time!
Part one and part two is up on u-tube.
I just read an article on another site,That expressed Dc wanting to get there name brand out not just in Movies but other media as well.I guess this doesn’t translate to cartoons. I know that a new season is forthcoming. I read in a TV Guide special about how Batman would be teaming up with the Barry Allen Flash at some point. If I am not mistaken I think that Warners either owns or has stock with Cartoon Network so It makes no sense to me why they are continuing not to sell there product. If they do not have any kind of controlling intrest They need to move there shows back to the WB network and show them there. It is poor marketing and someone should be replaced or fired altogether.
Warner’s owns cartoon network for they bought turner broadcasting which owned it. and can not believe given Warner now wanting the dc universe in all media they are not promoting brave and the bold like they do their other shows . for fans can not watch and support a show if they do not know when.
You obviously didn’t read the Brave and the Bold thread right on this site. We had the time right there. I even gave a heads up post! Or perhaps you should get Tivo or DirecTV. Never miss an episdoe again.
I do agree, though, that BATB is getting the “last month’s flavor” treatment from CN. Same goes for the toys. Remember, JLU is the exception; most toy driven shows have a very limited shelf life.

The eppy was solid, but not spectacular as some have been.
I saw both parts of the Starro episodes on “On Demand” over 2 months ago. I honestly believed it was the last 2 episodes of season 2, not the first 2 episodes of Season 3. They were only available to watch for a short time and then they were gone. My son and I dug them as we do every episode of BBB. I have read that this is the final season and that another, more dark Batman series will take it’s place. It’s a shame as BBB has been a ton a fun and featured some of the most eclectic character selections of any superhero cartoon, past or present. If CN know it’s the last season, that may be the reason why there have been no commercials. They are letting it die quietly. And that’s a shame.
