i do prefer my figures be accurate to scale. the fact that the jlu bane is going to be teh same size as my jlu batman drives me nuts.
also, the dcsh darkseid, next to the superman . . . it's just dissapointing.
or even the sdcc lobo, that was slightly too tall for the scale of the line in my opinion.

Its not a lack of respect on my part. Watch the old shows. Robin rarely does anything to help out. Contrast that with Robin on Teen Titans Go, where he leads the team. Very different.

And I liked ODonnell as Robin.

No respect for Robin superfriend? I don't know why so many people don't seem to like Robin. Did Odonnell just ruin it for everyone?

The Spidey thing.

I put Spidey in the picture to see if anyone was going look at them closely. I always thought that the Justice League on the Super Friends TV show got the short end of the stick in terms of power because not only were they 2 members less (11 JLA vs 13 LOD), but they got stuck with Robin.

Since I already did not have Apache Chief, Samauri, and Black Vulcan, I decided to sub in Cyborg, Firestorm and Black Lightning. Cyborg & Firestorm were on the show later and DC has said Black Vulcan was Black Lightning. If I was alreayd doing that, why not sub in someone more useful for Robin. And Plastic Man balances the picture.

Sodam Yat
Not sure what you think is a Sodam Yat figure, but I am not aware of one existing, and I do not own one.

Even as a child I was a scale guy. I didn't mind not being able to mix lines because of it, but I was so mad that Secret Wars and Super Powers were so close, but just not close enough. I didn't mix anything. Still don't.
The funny thing is, when it comes to a line, I'm not that picky about scale, like for JLU, I like Atom Smasher, Amazo, etc fine scale wise, I am a little disappointed that Barda is small, but I still like her...

I like a line to be internally consistent when it comes to scale. I don't want my DCUC Superman to be shorter than my DCUC Flash. If lovin' scale is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

I have never been one for scale (although my favorite is 3-3/4), and once I finally get my pictures up everyone can see...
Usually I start with setting up everything from one line in a section-- but as the collection gets added to I just start to put figures in wherever they fit.

I mean I have a Rhino figure collection (not just the Spidey Villain) that goes across all lines and scales and its one of my favorites-- it includes Heroclix, Legends, Spidey Animated (both cartoons), Avatar, Battle Beasts, Matchboxes, TMNT, 4 Horseman, Robot Heroes, Power Rangers, Wuzzles and more...

Really need to take all those pictures.

When my nephew was 3 and 4 all of the figures that were bigger were the smaller ones Dad. If he had two characters of the same scale they were brothers. Now he is 5 and a half and everyone comes from different universes.

Good point made!

Often we get so focused on one thing we can lose the bigger picture.

The mixed scale photos really do look like a collection for a fanatic. It seems to say, "I collect it all!"
