I’m one of many people who had the extreme pleasure of flying with Bob. His enthusiasm for flying and love of life was contagious. I consider myself blessed to have known him and be befriended by him.

Godspeed Bob, certainly seems like you left quite an impression. Honor your friend and celebrate what he gave you..a taste of something new, different, perhaps at times even scary. I really like seeing people celebrate someone’s life rather than agonize over it. He would have liked that I think.

Very sad news, SF. It seems like Bob enjoyed his life and made others happy because of it. That’s a wonderful legacy to leave behind. My condolences to all who loved him.

Reading your tribute I thought of the last verse to “Highwayman”:

I fly a starship across the Universe divide
And when I reach the other side
