Shade has always been a Jay Garrick Flash villain. He was part of the Injustice Society the way the Joker was part of the Injustice Gang. I think he even “stole” Keystone City from the face of the Earth. I don’t know if that is still the case, after all the reboots. But in the original timeline, it might’ve lasted for more than a decade. That is, until Barry Allen “crossed-over” and found “it”. It’s just that the Shade has never messed with Wally West; that I can remember. But even as “supporting character” in Robinson’s Starman, he often mentioned how much he hated Jay Garrick.

Again… it’s all in the eye of the beholder. But since I have two Shades (thanks to the wonderful work-in-progress that is Mattel), I decided to add him to the Flash Rogues. Once Jay Garrick hits retail, it’ll probably be a different story.

I can see reasons for including those. Flash fought Psycho Pirate and Anti-Monitor during Crisis on Infinite Earths. I think there is a way to tie Shade to the Jay Garrick version of Flash. I was just going with the traditional Rogues, made as part of JLU, and to me Pirate and Shase are JSA villains.

As I said above, I just have not found Weather Wizard yet (And his animated costume is kind of lame).

I was wondering why my Flash Rogues display seemed “larger” than SF’s.

Turns out that I’ve added my Psycho Pirate, Weather Wizard, DC Direct Anti-Monitor, and extra Shade to it.

I know this might not be kosher with some. But as a product of the 80′s, it somehow looked better to me with those guys in it.

The stuff you list as rare was all on Matty.com, we all had a chance to get it. I consider the poorly distributed 6 packs from a few years back and Volcana to be much more rare.

Neil – this leg problem is a MAJOR reason I had to pass on those MC exclusive sets. If they can’t be bothered to fix the legs at this point, I can’t be bothered to pay extra for them. It’s beyond ridiculous at this point.

Add to that the fact I managed to find these sets pictured, but missed out on the previous Cheetah/Lex and Beyond sets, never saw the Thanagar/Eclipsed sets, yet I find myself not caring simply because they can NOT be bothered to correct this design flaw after YEARS of empty promises to “look into it”.

i have one of every figure including the hard to find ones (doom patrol, justice guild, lobo etc). they are all standing (some leaning) on one shelf in my office. It’s awesome to see

nice pictures. and agree fans need the trickester in fact more flash rogues need to be done since flash seems to have been over looked for a while. as for the leg flaw. that seems to be the one weakness of every action figure that plus Mattel really has not much experiance with super hero toys given they are the home of Barbie.

I also wouldn’t complain if they threw us a Heat Wave next year – he did have some good screen time towards the end of the last season.

After trying various options with my JLU figures, I just gave up and bought a whole ton of poker chips, and just glue them down. Not an ideal solution by any means, but it has for the most part stopped the constant domino effect on my shelf. However, a few figures (I’m looking at you, Forager), have legs warped so badly they’re standing at what is technically a physically impossible angle for a human begin.

I’d have to FIND the Weather Wizard pack. But yes, i need him to complete what is out now for Flash Rogues.

Yeah, as I said, it took so long to try to get Green Lantern to stand that I gave up. This is the one that came with Fire and Ice. He leans over badly *with* a stand.

Cool pics but you got to get the weather wizard/live wire back to complete the rogues. yeah, can we get a trickster?

I echo the comment on the legs. i put some of thos sticky squares that you are used to hang pictures under each foot and they usually stand. But the newer soft legs will bend over time and eventually there’s no way they can stand
