I often use this medium to complain.  Instead, I thought I’d write about things I am thankful for this year (I had a minister tell me at one point he was asked to come up with 100 things he was thankful for.  He said it was hard even for him to come up with that many.)

My wife.  21 years.  Still likes me.  And she lets me put up action figures as if they were nick-knacks in the living room.

My kids.  Daughter and Son.  Proud as punch of both of them.  And they watch cartoons with me.

My extended family.  My wife’s family lives near by.  My own lives a not unreasonable drive by car.  I should visit more often.  Or at least call.

My friends – Part 1.  Sometimes I forget they are around, but every once in a while I am reminded.  And occasionally I make a new one.  One of my son’s friend’s dads has recently become a friend of mine which is kind of cool.

My friends – Part 2.  These are the folks I don’t see very often due to distance or scheduling.  But when we do get a few moments its really cool.

My friends – Part 3. The AFi team and regulars who put stuff here and converse with me about my hobby, without whom collecting all this stuff would be less fun.

So, for today, lets throw off the gloom of the past year and be thankful for the good things we do have.  I cannot truly say "All Will Be Well", but its often not as bad as we think.
