Oh, but El Dorado and Rima would be very, very sweet, too.
I would love to see the Justice League Unlimited versions of the Hanna-Barbera characters – Wind Dragon, Long Shadow, Shifter and the other “wonder twin” who’s name escapes me, and the Black Vulcan homage. They would be pretty cool to have as well.

When I saw those photos I, too, was floored. Superfriends was pretty much singlehandedly responsible for my love of superheroes, comics and action figures. Okay, Spider-Man and his Amazing friends got me into the X-Men, but it was Superfriends that got me into the genre.
I am excited to see them, and hope to whatever higher power is out there that I get ahold of these figures.
BUT Gypsy continues to be my Holy Grail for this line. As far as I can tell, she is the only JLA’er that has been pictured on the show but not rendered in plastic. If Mattel does indeed get her into production, I’ll never ask for another thing from them.
Well,except for a DCUC version …

I love the Superfriends 3-pack but how long until the masses start whining for a 10″ Apache Chief?

I think that El Dorado should have accompanied the this trio on Matty.com…This three pack will only sell to people over the age of 27…LOSH should have been a three pack, kids know who they are from the show that was just recently on.

I was wondering why Cyborg would be packed with Plastic Man, and another Mister Miracle reissue…I don’t know why I didn’t see the Super Power connection.

I’m very excited about these too–I played Apache Chief on the playground as much as I played Green Lantern or Batman. Very cool designs–I’m glad they’ll be part of JLU. Sweet!

The LEGION OF SUPER HEROS Founding trio.

Lighting Lad, Cosmic Boy and Saturn Girl, along with Brainiac 5 are just the start. 31 other members should allow Mattel to stretch the JLU line well into 2010!

On the DCIH line – We wave Wonder Woman’s body and Hawkman’s Wings – Can any one say Dawnstar

The ultimen would definitley be a great addition. I’m too young to have ever seen Super Friends, so my appreciation of the new figures is not as high. Personally, I would have liked more Batman the Animated Series figures. A Clayface, or Firefly would have been very nice.

Never been a fan of the “fake” Super Friends characters (always would have preferred Black Lightning, Red Tornado and… uh… Colossal Boy? to these “we’re here ’cause everyone else is white” versions on the show) but as a fan of the Super Friends, I appreciate them none-the-less.

NYCC was a real coup this time around and i’m so happy for JLU/DCUC/DCIH collectors.The characters being released really show that Mattel is doing their absolute best to give everyone what they really want.
Even DC Direct had the strongest showing of new products that i have seen in quite some time although what i hoped and prayed to see was a JSA Series 2 but alas it wasn’t to be.
Huge year ahead for us DC fans!!!

Of course, now I’m really going to want Wonder Twins in my JLU set!
