The second movie based upon the comic Superman / Batman is due out next week. "Superman Batman: Apocalypse." Tuesday, September 28. It doesn’t seem to be getting the press it deserves, so I’m adding some here.
Based upon the 2nd arc of Jeff Loeb’s run on the Superman / Batman comic, this movie tells the tale of a strange girl arriving on Earth, who appears to be Kryptonian. Superman and Batman find her. Superman is convinced she is his relative, while Batman distrusts her. Wonder Woman joins the story. Barda is recruited to help rescue the girl when she is kidnapped by Darkseid.

I loved this comic when Loeb was writing it. Along with Morrison’s JLA, it was a book I went back to and re-read during the month, and have goen back and re-read each arc and even the entire run of 26 issues numerous times. Not very many series I can say that about (My son can claim that for the entire run of Young Justice.).
Each of the more recent DC / WB releases has been accompanied by a Facebook game. This one is no different. This time we get "Destination Apocalypse". My disapointment is how few of my comic fans are playing this one. Our own Benjamin Leyer, and one person I played a previous game with are the only FB friends of mine playing. Check it out, it’s simple and fun. The reward is an exclusive movie clip!

Each previous movie release has been accompanied by a sale of other DC / WB movie and TV releases at Best Buy. I’ve picked up Justice League, SuperFriends, and Batman Beyond season sets at great discounts. Its saved me a bunch of money.
Tuesday, Sept 28!

Thanks for the shout out.
Yeah, the game has some fun bits, but I miss the “card game” from the past releases.
I will admit the Kryptonian translator was fun to play with and the Code Breaker was nice to see now that my son has become a fan of Mastermind.
For those of you that haven’t played yet, you still have time (5 days logging in to unlock all the goodies) so get on with it.
You deserved it. You reminded me about the game.
Thanks for the reminder. Completely forgot about this release.
can not believe the thing is almost out for that was the one storyline of batman superman that to me deserved the animated movie treatment. for one can never have to much of Darksiede causing grief.
Reminder – this is out tomorrow!
