Over on another site, the question was raised, “What Next?” What next indeed. Most of the big name properties have been mined for sets over the past few years. Batman, Spider-man, X-Men, Justice League, Avengers, Hulk, Superman, Captain America, Thor, Teen Titans, Iron Man, etc. For DC, there were 3 areas mentioned over and over again. Lanterns, New Gods, and the Legion of Super-Heroes. The Legion got a good showing in the Superman set with 8 members. I think the New Gods and the Legion could both be worked into the next Superman set (hey, Spider-man set 2 came out recently). So here Here is my take on what a Green Lantern themed HeroClix set might look like. Tell me what you think.

Scott, I agree wholeheartedly with the scheme you suggest. They just did 2 sets of Batman and we barely got any new Bat villains. Dr Phosphorus, Calendar Man and Dr. Hurt. I always appreciate new characters like the Wildcats and Batman Inc, but I think they missed the boat by not giving us a bunch of brightly colored classic Bat foes. And Calendar Man is in prison greys instead of his red and white costume, so to me they did the wrong version of him.
Fine by me, as long as they don’t randomly insert movie based designs, ’cause those’ll go straight to the garbage.
I understand skipping the movie based sets. I skipped most of the movie Avengers set and the entire Dark Knight set. Not really interested in Iron Man 3 or Superman movie set that is coming.
I would love a Green Lantern based set… I’d buy it the second I saw it
I loved the new Firestorms that HeroClix did. I’d be up for a Lantern line, but with characters you never see in other scales. There are 3600 Green Lanterns – pick some new & weird ones.
