HOLY COW! Cubbies win the Central!!
No matter how weak the division is, the Cubs went from last in 2006 to first this year, from 30 games under .500 to 84 wins so far – unbelievable!!! The Brewers gave it a great run, but the Cubs pulled it out. WOO HOO!!
My Pop and I spent the entire evening on the phone following both games, and we’ve been watching the celebration in Cinci in the Cubs clubhouse. Silly? of course. But these moments, sharing this with my Dad, this is what life is about.
That’s great, for sure I thought the Brewers were gonna take it in the beginning of the season with the way they played. But the Cubs fought back and against all odds (or maybe just a new catcher?) they showed up when it counted. Go Cubs!
