The head choice works better for Dick than it does for Hal. The chest symbol is done so smoothly, so sharply, I'd swear it was a factory label. What kills me, though, is the use of the belt...had I been making this, I'd have gone with the under-sized COIE one. But your use of the Silver Age version proves how wrong I'd have been...the sheer, riding-high-on-the-hips bulk of it is iconic for the 60's Batman. And that gives this custom JUST the right amount of nostalgia to warm my heart, and make me feel like a comic-book-nerd kid again. Bravo. Easily the highlight of the Showcase, for me (tied with Swass’ Apache Chief)…as well as one of my favorite Iron Cow customs, period.
