Shop Local and Win Big!

Does your favorite indie comic book or hobby store have a really cool NECA display? Send us a picture and you could score awesome prizes for yourself AND the store!

Post your photo to our Facebook or Twitter page with the tag #NECALOCAL, and include the store name & address. Photos must be taken at an independently owned store (no chain stores allowed).

Each month, the most fantastic display wins a prize pack personally curated by Randy Falk, head of product development (a.k.a. the man who makes action figure dreams a reality).

1. Snap a photo of NECA products on display at an independent store. Chain stores do not qualify.

2. Post your photo to our Facebook or Twitter page by 5/31/14. Include the tag #NECALOCAL and the store name and address.

3. One entry per person. Store photos cannot be submitted by employees of that store or their family members.

4. Anyone in the world can enter, but we can only ship prizes to a U.S. address.

NECA at Toys ‘R’ Us!
Check out our New Section and Win Prizes!

You asked, NECA listened! We’ve heard reports that it’s sometimes hard to find NECA products in Toys ‘R’ Us stores, or that they sell out too quickly. Toys ‘R’ Us is an important partner, so we made a big change:

NECA is now doing its own merchandising at almost every TRU store in the United States.

Our merchandising teams are placing a wider selection of more frequently updated items on the shelf just for you, the fans. Visit your local Toys R Us now to see the new, improved NECA section: bigger, better, and badder than ever!

It’s a considerable expense for us, but the results are worth it. Let us know what you think, and you could win a mind-blowing prize: a test shot of a NECA action figure!

1. Visit your local store. Snap a photo that includes the entire NECA section.

2. Post your photo to our Facebook or Twitter page with the tag #NECATRU. You MUST include the store location and the date of your visit.

3. One winner will be selected each month from that month’s submissions. If you don’t win one month, submit a new report the next month!

4. Anyone can enter, but the photo must be of a U.S. TRU location, and we can only ship the prize to a U.S. address.

Each month’s winner will receive a test shot of a NECA action figure. These are extremely rare, never-sold-in-stores items, so the figure will be different every month, but we guarantee it will rock your world.

Daniel Pickett
Daniel “Julius Marx” Pickett has been around toys his whole life. The first line he ever collected was Mego’s World’s Greatest Super Heroes line back in the 70s. He has been surrounded by collectables ever since. In 1999 he was confounded by a lack of information and news about some of his favorite toy lines he was collecting. Since he couldn’t find the information he decided to pursue it himself thinking other people might also be interested in the same news. He started writing a weekly column on the toy industry and action figure for a toy news site and in a years time he tripled the sites daily traffic with his updates, reviews and product features. He built relationships with every major toy manufacturer and many sculptors, painters and mold makers. He grew his hobby into a world wide expertise that the industry has embraced. In 2004 he teamed up with his toy buddy Jason “ToyOtter” Geyer and they created their own website www.ActionFigureInsider.com. Daniel has been quoted in both industry and mass media press outlets. Over the years Daniel and AFi have been sought out as experts in the field. Daniel was regularly featured on “Attack of the Show” on the G4 network as the primary contributor to their “Mint On Card” segment, and our front page has been linked to from USA Today’s “Pop Candy” Blog twice. Daniel’s content has also been featured on MSNBC.com, Wired.com, Fark.com, Boing-Boing, Gizmodo.com, Ain’t It Cool News, the Official Star Wars blog, Geekologie, G4, CNet and Toy Fare magazine, among many others. He has consulted on toy lines, books, documentaries and TV shows. But all of that really just sounds snooty and “tootin’ his own horn” – the long and short of it is that Daniel loves toys and he LOVES talking about them.
