Mattel has just released the three Target Exclusive DC SuperHero 6" 2-packs now arriving on store shelves and are priced at about $15.
The three sets are:
Superman vs. Bizarro
Batman and Batgirl
Superman and Clark Kent
I just picked these up so I haven’t had time to open them yet, but I’ll get them open, take some shots and update this page as soon as possible.

Also hitting now is the 4th wave of DC SuperHeroes. Wave 4 is another Superman wave. Michael Crawford reviewed the Brainiac and Doomsday figures last week. You can read that review here. In that review he mentions the re released Superman from Mattel’s first 6" Batman line. Here are some shots of that figure. While the sculpt is not as good as the stuff the 4 Horsemen are doing the paint job on it is more interesting than the originall release because of the highlight and shadow ops they did on the blue part of the suit. When asked on our Mattel message board why that old Superman was reused, line manager "Boy Wonder" simply replied "Long story that I don’t want to get into. Let’s just get through wave 4 and into 2007. "
The other item of interest is that on the card back for series 4 it finally shows the variant Superman and Supergirl that we have been hearing are coming. The Superman variant is as he appeared in the "Our Worlds at War" storyline.
