I haven't been paying attention to the toy scene after Mattel killed this line, so I was incredibly excited to hear about this news! Can anyone explain the differences between Funko's version & Mattel's (e.g., size, articulation, cloth or plastic capes)?

Funko's figures are 3 3/4" with 9POA. Price should be around $10. The Batman and Robin that come with the Batmobile were shown with cloth capes but that could change. The single Batman looked to have a plastic cape like the Suicide Squad one.

The figures have 9 POA consisting of ball jointed head, ball jointed shoulders, elbow hinges, t-crotch hips & knee hinges. The one down side is Batman's cape gets in the way of seating him in the Batmobile. But I think you can remove the capes fairly easy if wanted as they are just a loose piece of rubber around their necks. Now I can't wait for the single carded figures to arrive.

There is currently a thread on Megomuseum about a comic project called Batman 66 meets Wonder Woman 77, and while the reviews have gotten worse with each issue, it did make me think that some Wonder Woman 77 figures from Funko would be nice.

^Not to be mean...
Although I too would welcome Wonder Woman 77 figures, the line would be very Wonder Woman only.
What I mean by that is most of the figures would be of Diana herself and her different costumes and outfits throughout the show and not many other characters outside of Steve Trevor, Wonder Girl, maybe Hippolyta (but which one, Cloris Leachman, Carolyn Jones, or Beatrice Straight?).
After general nazis, the show had no real memorable, or even recurring, villains.
Maybe wave 1 could be season 1/WWII era. With wave 2 being 70s style, based on the rest of the show.
IRAC and Rover could make nice pack-in figures.
But thats as far as my mind can take it and it still possibly sell.

I used to have a Mego Batman. His head peg broke. :(
None of mine survived from my childhood.
The Hulk came apart at his waist. Spidey just disappeared one day. That was my favorite toy so that upset me a lot.

Finally opened my Batmobile.
I never opened my classic Batmobile for the 6in figures because it is so huge. So I was still hoping for a 2 seater.
I did not find that here..

This car is small. So small it can only accommodate figures in its EXACT same scale. No fudge room.
The only other Batman figures I have that fit in it are the 4in Batman Unlimited ones.
Once again, no space, clearance, or fudge room for any other scales.
Add on top of that, the plastic capes keep even the figures that are supposed to go in it from being able to sit in the car.

Also, I guess I never realized just how small these figures were going to be.
These are true 3 3/4ths scale figures. Will fit in perfectly with Funko's other lines and Mattel's Infinite Heroes.
But look really small next to anything else.

As much as I have been looking forward to this line, I am kinda disappointed so far.
Granted, I say that as I just pre-ordered King Tut and Bookworm, thinking about getting Mr. Freeze, and nearly praying for multiple future waves.

I wonder how the 1/18 Die-Cast Batmobile would look like next to it.

I was on the north side of town and at a Game Stop I have never been to and saw Batman 66 figures. Guy said they just installed the display space 2 days ago. Watch Game Stop for these.
