What type of plastic are the joint pins made of? Are they the brittle translucent pins with the painted ends or are they molded in the same colour plastic as the figures themselves?

I almost got a Batgirl but her logo had a scratch right through the middle. :(
The Batman I saw looked like he was a mannequin the way he was so pale.

I saw some of these at TRU today, in the game section, for $9.99.

I found this papercraft tv Batcave at AFT downloads. These are the only 2 pieces I have done so far. Thought I would shoot a pic to see how well they scaled.

I thought I had seen a phone, so I took my 40% off coupon to Hobby Lobby and voila! Of course it is metal, so I have 2 options: repaint which means priming first, or make a mold and recast in resin as many as I want.

I was not happy with my first cast. The resin is supposed to set up in 3 minutes, but when I demolded it after 5 it was still a little soft. I think the resin mix is just old, so I went back to Hobby Lobby and got some more, and found this cake stand while I was there.
