So, the Horsemen have launched their new Fantastic Exclusive contest site where us fanboys get to help pick and direct the planning of next years convention exlcusive figure from the Horsemen. Great idea.

So, why do I hate them? Simple! Check out the site:

Look at those original figure line concepts and designs. They ALL freakin' awesome! I want ALL those lines...especially Gothitropolis, Symbiotech and 7th Kingdom!

So...Cornboy...what happens to the rest of these concepts?

The diverse kingdoms are as follows: animal, humanoid, elemental, alien, mutant outcasts, and machines. The proposed format of the line is six to seven inches tall with well hidden super articulation. Each character would have his or her own specific weapon(s).

7th Kingdom sounds like the one with most potential. A possible 6 inch line of fantasy/mythology figures with "super articulation". What more could you want?

I like them all as well... but frankly that concept pic of the Minotaur has sold me on 7th Kingdom. It looks like a less cheesy MOTU (all due respect to the fans of MOTU, I was too as a kid but Snout Spout is as least as silly as he is cool) kind of line. Hoping it's 6" scale, keep 7" for movie lines.

All of those lines look like fun. But I would go with the 7th Kingdom as well.

All the lines need more babes. ;-D

I like the idea for the Cancer figure in the zodiac line, but the other designs aren't as strong. I'd really like to see them take things way out there.

I'm digging the Gothistopolis and Alien lines myself. Although that eco armor line would probably have some very cool translucent stuff in it.

Jeff, I hear you on hating these guys. I wasn't a fan of MoTU as a kid but, thanks to Cornboy and crew, I had to own every single MoTU figure and playset released by Mattel. If the 4HM had only left well alone, I'd have had a lot more cash!

They're a MENACE!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Wer'e glad you're digging the ideas that we came up with. We really enjoy hearing everyone's opinions on why they like or dislike various concepts.

As for the lines that don't make the cut, we'll take into consideration all of the posts considering those properties, adjust things accordingly, and you just might see all of those at some point in the future in one form or another. They definitely won't just be dropped.

And please, pass the word around about FANtastic exclusive! The only way it can be successful is with your support! Thanks!

I ran an article about this over at da Poop this week - it's an excellent idea.

I voted for 7th Kingdom myself, but several of the ideas have some serious potential.

Some excellent choices, but I opted to give the Zodiac Pack. The other lines reminded me of McFarlane (sp) stuff. I would like to see the line given a little more "out of the box" thought and more articlation, but overall I like the idea - I'd like to see it as a comic or an animated TV show...

That's exactly how I feel.
I'm not into heavy and intricate detail. I like more design oriented, stylized figures.
So I voted #1-Zodiac, #2 Alien.

Please keep passing the word around, y'all! We just spoke to Jan today, and he said that there are over 500 votes so far!

We're stoked! We didn't think we'd have NEARLY that many votes already!

Thanks to everyone who voted, and to all of you who are helping to spread the word!
