I've got to say, I'm a newcomer to collecting action figures. I only recently got into it after turning away from the expensive habit of collecting superhero statues. BUt in that short time, I've come to really enjoy several relatively new figures, including:

• DCD Firestorm
• DCD Teen Titans Series 1 Deathstroke
• Silver Surfer Series Beta Ray Bill
• Classic Cover Spawn (from Spawn #8 or something, the one where he's standing with a couple of big guns)
• DCD Kilowog
• Marvel Legends Nightcrawler (the giant Jay Leno chin doesn't really bother me)
• Sin City B&W Marv

DCD really hit a home run with the Firestorm (thank god it wasn't that horrible horrible NEW Firestorm...Brrr! ) and Kilowog.

Firestorm, in particular makes me feel like DCD would be better served by making a definitive version of each character for each era (GA, SA, MA) rather than all these storyline or artist specific styled figures.
