Thanks Jim! That makes it almost tempting to get even if I'm not into the 3 3/4" stuff!

The Narnia castle looks cool (as I said), but the problem I can see with it, is that's it's too darn shallow. Yes, it's very tall and wide, but it looks to be so shallow that figures can't be spread out. If you're putting figures in it, they all have to be in a line. That's the most disappointing aspect of that playset (as far as I can tell, since I don't actually have one).
There is a Robin Hood (the British TV series) Sheriff's castle, which looks pretty good...But it's rare to find online...Practically none are ever on Ebay.
I would kill for a decent cave/cavern playset (perhaps with falling rocks/stalactites, a pit, a rock bridge, etc...).
I have a 2002 Castle Grayskull and an original MOTU Fright Zone, both work pretty well with 1/18 scale figures.
Thank you for the info about the pirate ships, Jim...I'll look into it.
Dana

the 11th doctor's TARDIS playset has that problem of no space to spread out figures and the catwalk ramps are to thin you have to stand figures sideways.

I've got the Narnia castle, and it is very shallow. More like a backdrop than a playset. That said, it's a really nice piece. And it's even better because I got it on a Target clearance for less that $10.

I almost bought one a year ago off Ebay for 50, wanted to use it with Doctor Who but I found out it's for the 3 3/4 scale.

Got this today! I love this set, more than I thought I would! It goes great with the 5" Character Options Doctor Who figures! Very Gothic like the Brain of Morbius! Gives the Creeper somewhere to hang out! Etrigan checking his scrying ball! Solomon Grundy tosses Batman out the breakaway window!

Dana Another option out there (although not cheap)- since they are pretty much only available in Europe is the Famosa Disney Heroes lines -- I believe there was a castle in both the Sword in the Stone and Robin Hood Lines)-- And if any of you do ever drop the coin for these-- I will gladly make a deal with you for the exclusive figures that are included--

That's a cool pic. I may have to get one of those Nemo set's myself.

I found this today for $10.00 It has almost everything It's missing the upper half plastic backdrop which all the other accessories attach to. I'm quite confident I'll find the missing piece in my travels in the meantime it'll make an interesting addition to my ever growing Batcave diorama.

I think my best catch on ebay was one of those huge Batman Forever batcaves (with the cathedral overtones) for something like $35 plus $5 shipping (though I know the seller ended up paying much more to ship that pupply).
Playsets are my new obsession as well. I love the Spawn garage playset but I did have to do some custom work to it. I mentioned posting pics already. I promise I'll get to it this week.

The one you're talking about is from Batman Forever I found my Batman Forever Batcave at a local used toy store for $30.00, almost complete. It was missing the zipline and the purple stand and weapon which attaches to the top of one of the cathedral spires. Well enough for me so I snagged it!
