I will trade extras from the star wars line- if people are so inclined for extras from the DC sets..

Well there were 4 of that pack on the shelf at the Target I stopped at today--- trust me-- if the star wars beanz are any indication-- popular guys will be in multiple packs-- and since every case is evenly distributed (Im guessing 2 of each pack)-- I dont think any will be too hard to find in the long run..

Wow -- thats a lot of repeats in the first wave--
Makes me wonder if they are doing these a little more random than star wars...

Has anyone found the DC Beanz anywhere besides Target?
My TRU stores still have a small endcap display by the registers with the basics, Marvel, and SW but don't seem to be resetting it anytime soon to add DC. Walmart barely has any Beanz in the current plan.
I haven't seen anything online except for Amazon and eBay and those are both at "collector" prices.

Walmart seems to be back to just the non-licensed Beanz on the modular, but there are a dozen or so sidekicks full of the Star Wars packs all over the department with some Marvel ones mixed in.
I wouldn't worry about TRU just yet, annual inventory is about this time of January then they'll start doing their resets and re-stocks once that's over.

Saw these at Target yesterday. Star Wars, Marvel, and DC. Visible DC were Capt Boomerang, Two face, Black Canary. To me, the visible characters are not high profile enough to sell the package.

I liken them to more of a toy version of a "mexican jumping bean"
Basically a little oval tube with a ball bearing inside that makes them flip end over end down a ramp of some sort. They are a pain in the rear to simply stand up though as you have to get the bearing to sit "just right" and then anyone who bumps the table causes them to shift, lean, rolll, flip-over, etc. so displaying really requires the "official" Beanz case or some sort of display stand (I would assume that a magnetic base would work since the interior ball bearing is steel).

I don't think I'll be buying anymore until I actually hear of someone finding a Wonder Woman one. I don't need all these. Gotta admit though...Aquaman and Hawkman are pretty cool!!!

Just found some auctions for a Joker Bean and a Raven bean (sorry forgot to copy the links...) from a seller in Lockport (just outside of Buffalo). Hopefully that means that more packs are on the way to Target and we'll start being able to find more characters (and duplicates galore! ) again...
