It's a late one tonight - I always forget just how much work setting up the Poppies/People's Picks voting ballot is! But it's all done now, and it's time for the voting - the 135 Poppies Judges (who are the ones that developed the nominations in each category) are doing their voting over the next couple weeks, but you get your chance too. You can vote in the People's Picks, which uses the identical ballot. You'll find it here:

If you have any questions, let me know - and thanks for participating!

My votes are cast. There were some really, really tough categories. The toughest one for me was the Best Overall line: low end. After much internal debate, I ended up going with MOTUC.

Yep, I'll be doing my Best/Worst picks for 2010 in the interim, and when I write it up, it's going to be a tough call in a lot of these categories.

my vote for worst company of the year is for Shocker (again) for flat out lying to us about the Con Exclusives. Like the lying liars who lie that they are.

but what should anybody expect from Shocker aside from halfassed excuses, lies, and blameshifting.

oh and disappointment.

and a terrible product if and when it does come out.

Just a note to let you know the Poppies and People's Picks are wrapping up at the end of this week, so if you haven't voted yet, please do so soon! I'll be spending most of next week on my picks for best and worst of 2010, and then the results of the two awards. Thanks!
