Hey guys,

I was just curious what the best place to buy some of these figures i see advertised on the front page. Like i had no idea there was even going to be a Gremlins toy line. Where am i going to be able to find them? And how about the new Jarwa (sp?) retro Sonic figures? And what about those weird Disney Afternoon figures coming out that all have round Mickey ears? And what's the best way to find out when these things are getting released?

Frank and Sons. Lol, jk.

But you joined in 2004 and have over 1000 posts and you're asking this question? It seems like you should know if anyone would.

I have like 9,000 posts and I don't know where to buy that stuff either. I know TRU sells a lot of random stuff like this. You could probably do a quick google search for the companies and find out the best places to get the info and buy the stuff.

Toys R Us carries a lot of the NECA and Jazwares stuff so they will be a good bet for the lines you mentioned. There are also a few Suncoast Video stores out there and FYE that also carry lines like that.

You can also order them right now from BigbadToyStore.com if you don't want to have to search for them. They'll deliver them right to your house.

Those are from the Disney Vinylmation line-- which are exclusive to the disney parks (although a few of the series are available on the disney store site- or make it into the mall- Disney Stores.. For all around info on those go to .

http://www.vinylnation.net/

And if you start down the path of collecting those - consume you it will-- especially with all the chase, exclusive, and limited edition figures-- and the fact that they bring out like 2 new sets every month- and have like 3 or 4 sizes now..

The disney afternoon ones have tempted me (as well as some of the Star Wars and Villians ones)-- the best bet on these are pretty much stick to ebay or make some friends in Florida.

For those Disney Afternoon Vinylmations. They are limited to 1000 sets. The first set released was Tail Spin which was online only and is sold out. The second was Ducktales which was split between the Vinyl stores in FL and CA. And may be sold out as well.

That's what happens when you strictly post in the Mattel all section lol!

But thanks to everyone else for all the good advice. i guess i just need to visit ToyRUs more. Since they stopped carrying JLU i haven't really been there. When they had the singles this X-mas i stopped in and was blown away by all the cool new collector toys.

I'm just mad at myself for not even knowing about those Disney Afternoon characters. They half excite me and half creep me out with those weird ears. lol Maybe i'll try and scoop up Scrooge though. I just feel like this stuff is not advertised enough. Either that, or I'm just spending way to much time being caught up in JLU!

I really do not care for the Vinylmation stuff or things like it. However, if they do a Jack Sparrow...I'm doomed.
