I had a really hard time not buying into the Venture Bros Mego style figures, cause i really like the Venture Bros, but i dont like the mego style figures. But these, these are awesome. really awesome. and i dont collect star wars, joes or jlu, so this'll be my first 3 3/4 line since i used to get star wars guys back when i was a kid. way to go, bbp!

I'm late to the Venture Bros. Party. I'm just now getting into the show. I'm really excited about this line. The prototypes look fantastic.

I will pick those up, assuming the price isn't absurd. I didn't pick up the Mego-style figures because it just wasn't worth it, but at 3 3/4", I'm sure I will.

I'm also in the "disliked the mego style camp". I'm an 80's kid. Megos aren't my thing. That said, I do want that rusty venture SDCC lunch box! However I'm a huge fan of Venture Bros. I really want these. This is the highlight of the SDCC action figure news for me. This will make my JLU woes go away for sure! I would love for the VB to eclipse JLU in character selection.

I am a Mego fan and I've seen BBP's retro Who figures in person and I love them. I'll absolutely have them on my shelf.
