I love buying figures at my LCS. They are a little more expensive but cheaper than buying online.

I refuse to buy figures at the local comic shop. They insist on putting these obnoxious orange price stickers right in the middle of the figure. Maybe if they put it in the corner or on the back or something, I wouldn't mind so much, but it's right in the middle and they are difficult to remove without leaving residue. Back when I had an account there, I used to have them order figures and, when they actually did order them, which wasn't all that often, I told them don't you dare put those damn stickers on my figures or I'm not buying them. I ended up telling them where to shove the figures more often than I bought them.

So no, they lost my figure business forever.

That stinks. I've never had a prob with stickers at my shop.

Yup and they don't care. I told them ultimately that was one of the reasons I stopped buying from them and they kept on doing it. I guess losing customers isn't important to them.

There's another shop a bit farther away who doesn't put stickers on anything, they just have the pegs tagged. I occasionally get something from them, but their stock sucks.

For me it is definitely a mix of eBay and my local comic shop. He gets in a lot of vintage toys and always lets me know via Facebook when he gets new Turtles in. And as far as eBay goes, I just have a knack for finding those sweet lots .
