hi i have recently started watching the big bang theory and have noticed in a fair few episodes when they are in comic book store and rajs kitchen theres this toy appears shown in this picture in bottom right on the desk it has a grey base and what looks like 4 capsules and inside each capsule has some sort of green and yellow and red and blue things inside each capsule

im intrigued by this item and as i have no idea what its called then i cant search for it
please if you know what it is let me know

its been really annoying me since started season 1 and now on season 3 and have to know what those coloured capsule things are i also think it says gold on front

That is from DC Direct. It is a collection of Kryptonite on a very cool display system that lights up.

Several years back at this point and your only shot of getting one is most likely eBay or a very lucky find at a comic shop.

Glad to see I'm not the only one freezing BBT and trying to figure out exactly what collectibles they have in the background. They have some good stuff, but also a lot of set designer "eh, it's a Superhero, just stick in it there somewhere " items.

I have a lot of what Wolowitz does in his bedroom, but I'm smart enough not to put them IN THE BEDROOM.

BTW Alcatraz also has a comicbook store set (Jorge Garcia's day job), but they seem to be going the "genetic, non identifible" route.

thanks for the info it was doing my head in trying to figure out what it was so so annoying and i kept seeing it in episodes i was almost sure it was little capsules with slimy space aliens inside them ha ha ha wrong!!!!.

but kryptonite thing looks brilliant although its expensive and out of stock so far.

and yes shellhead im always pausing n zooming on big bang theory trying to see what they have lol
