Season 3 got the green light to go into production, although the premiere date and network have not been announced yet.

Wow...

As for network, it would have to be Netflix as they said they'd go for another season if the original two were getting enough views.

Could it possibly happen? Could Greg Weisman ACTUALLY be given a chance to finish a story? And is he smart enough to take it? And is he good enough of a writer to actually deliver a satisfying ending? He is pretty much the most prominent TV producer I know that has NEVER wrapped up a project, much less successfully. Are we going to get a good ending? Or is Weisman going to end season three on a cliffhanger before the show is canceled again?

I hope this means Gargoyles is not completely dead either. Frankly, I would have preferred a Gargoyles continuation to this. Young Justice better than The (terrible) Spectacular Spider-Man, but it was still seriously overrated. I'd much rather see season three of Gargoyles animated.

Best animation news I've ever gotten. I watched and rewatched this a ton on Netflix, in order to get this back on air. I loved this show.

The Good news: Young Justice Season Three has a subtitle: Outsiders.

The bad news: It is only going to be offered on DC's new streaming service.

I'm not paying for a streaming service to watch one or two shows. I don't like Young Justice THAT much.
