Jazwares Inc will be releasing a new line of Teen Titans figures in 2", 5" & 8" scale. These will be based on the new Teen Titans Go series debuting on the DC Nation cartoon block on Cartoon Network this year.

Even though I do not like this version I will be in. I just wish the figures would look like the Teen Titans TAS.

I could be in for this line depending on the execution and output. Hopefully we'll start seeing some samples sooner rather than later (although I am willing to bet it won't be before SDCC this summer).

Today's BBTS e-mail lists Titans pre-orders. Follow the link to see what they're offering so far...

BBTS Teen Titans pre-orders

Doesn't look good for figures unless you only like Robin and Cyborg...

I'm still bummed we never got to see the females get the 5 inch treatment like the guys did. Those would have been great figures...

Has anyone found any pics yet? I'd love to show my son and start to gauge his interest level...

I like the fact that Jazwares got the license for Go even less than the fact that Bandai got the license for the original Teen Titans show. At least Bandai got better as the line went on but I have yet to see anything decent from Jazwares that doesn't look like a KO.

I attended a holiday toy preview press event today, and Jazwares had some Teen Titans Go figures on display.

The PR rep said the line would have a small shelf space at TRU, but it would eventually grow as the line expands.

The 2" deluxe set looks really cool, but I'm a sucker for toys I can put on my desk at work. BTW, the last figure in the pack is Silkie, the mutant moth larvae.

Saw those at TRU yesterday.

boxset is non-poseable PVCs for $19.99

Deluxe action figures (with some of the worst joints and paint apps I've ever seen on a figure) were $10.99 each.

So far, this line is an easy pass.

As underwhelmed as I am by Jazwares stuff, I do want that PVC boxset. My kids will dig it (they love the show).

Went to TRU today and saw the PVC boxset. They are tiny. My kids would still like them, but man they're small. Can't see how these would stand on their own, and they don't have peg holes or stands. No good for the desk without help.

Got the PVC mini figures set and love it! I finally have figures of Raven, Beast Beast Boy, Starfire and (YAY!) Silkie! I NEVER thought I'd see a Silkie figure. Now I want a plushie of him too. (Him and JLU's Baby Etrigan).

Amen -- and we were supposed to.

I've seen these new toys at TRU. Not impressed, but then I'm not impressed with the show or the character design.

I'm also not impressed with JazWares. The only toys I've ever bought from them that didn't feel like they were going to fall apart two seconds after I took them out of the package have been some of their Sonic figures, and a couple of the Mortal Kombats. Some of their Hanna-Barbera figures have been broken IN PACKAGE.

If this company had any semblance of quality control, I'd be paying a lot more attention to their products. It's a shame, too, because they have some very interesting licenses.
