I don't have any HeroClix, but I'd want her. Just glancing over the article, though, it doesn't seem these will be easily available.

Quantities will be limited, and the sets will be available on a first-come, first served basis. If any Collector’s Sets are left after the Collector’s Club early purchase period has ended, they will be made available to other HeroClix fans later, and will be available in limited numbers at some WizKids-attended conventions.

So you may have a slim chance of snagging these at a Con, but your best bet might be eBay or find someone who ordered it who wants to split up the set. Pretty much sucks either way for any non-Heroclix fans.

Maybe, but the point was to get Heroclix fans to buy more clix at brick and mortar stores AND to reward those buyers who were buying them in bulk to collect the expansion sets.

(it also fills a game mechanic gap on the DC side, which currently has only 1 giant piece.)

1. Buy a dozen boosters from a brick and mortar store.

2. Mail in the Krypto form, receipt, box bottoms with UPC codes and a small fee for shipping Krypto.

3. When Krypto arrives enter the code on the Giants coupon into WizKids website.

4. Wait until May 3rd. Order the Giants. Wait for them to arrive.

OK. I agree. This could be simpler. Getting them anyway.

I bought two brix on one receipt and now I gotta figure out a way to get both Krypto figures. Oops.

Fortunately for me the characters in the Giants set don't really appeal to me, so the fact this set is a bear to get ahold of doesn't worry me.

However, the next DC Collectors Set is Green Lantern Corp!

But, I don't buy boosters and I certainly don't buy bricks...so, my odds ain't good.

I love HeroClix, but I hate the collectibility aspect of the game.

I am not a HeroClix player, but I love the figures. I would have killed to have the figures to "play" with when I was a kid. But the thing I dislike about them is the packaging mystery. I hate to spend my limited toy allowance on unknowns - something I don't want. Fourtunately, I've found a couple of game shops that sell loose figures. Because I don't care about the factors, I can buy the yellow base figure for a buck a pop.

If the GIANTs are as impressive as the Galactus HeroClix, then they are going to be fabulous...

Healthy competition warning. Shop around.
I've been hunting for Collateral Damage singles on Ebay. Several Ebay stores are in the same ballpark as these guys. Perpetual Comics is one I have ordered from that I can think of.

Easy test of a store for heroclix. Go to the Collateral Damage section. Look in the uniques. 8 out of the 12 of these are selling on Ebay auctions for less than 5$ each. Look at a few you know how much they are worth. KC GL is very expensive. HT Parasite is one of the uniques you cannot give away. As always, know your merchandise or pay too much.
