The boxes are about 5" high. Haven't been able to get my hands on any loose pieces yet.

Looks to me like tiny retro vinyls!

I would guess the arms at least are articulated. If they have the standard Japanese Rotocast Vinyl figure construction (a la Ultraman for example) they'd have swivel joints at the arms and waist.

If they're solid PVC figures I'd guess only joints at the arms (it doesn't look like Surfer has a line at his waist so that makes me suspect they might not be hollow rotos)

I'm sure Dare can confim once he sees em in person.

I bought a Spider-Man. Not bad but I paid $15 including shipping but it's probably only worth $5 - $8. The pieces are hollow and it is a build-up. I had to trim some plastic off to get the pieces to fit together. I ended up glueing mine together because the pieces were too loose and the whole figure kept falling apart. Anyway, Spidey has a nice retro feel and fits in nicely with my vintage collection.

Dude, your Super Powers Collection is in GOOD SHAPE.
