I saw this thread at ROC and would love to talk about it here.
Based on the fact that the Wonder Woman movie should be coming out next year, do you think that we might get toys out of this and if so what kind ?

Id love to see a line of figures based on this movie. Now I know that we wont get any where near a full line but what we could get would be good to. Maybe get something like the Polly Pockets that are close to the 3.5in Teen Titans toys. Earlier today I looked at my Starfire figure and thought that it could be a good WW figure. Of coarse it would have to be WW and Steve Trevor heavy but since it would only a be 2007 line it would be ok. Or maybe something like the Sabrina cartoon toys that came out a few years ago. And the Steve Trevor variants could be cool - astronaut, fighter pilot, etc.
Or maybe they could go outside the box and give us something like what the SheRa toys were like.

And if this line was succesfull, maybe they could do more. Id love to see the Wonder Woman and the Star Riders idea brought back. Ofcoarse highly updated and with a massive overhaul.

Aren't there GL and Flash movies planned for next year also? Yes, I think we will get toys. I think part of the reason DC denied Mattel the chance to make these characters in the DCSH is related to the movie rights somehow. Time will tell.....

Next year? That'd take a miracle given that there's no directors, no scripts (nothing final anyways), no actors signed...etc.

GL and Flash movies are in development...not pre-production and certainly not production.

They're a ways off....if they happen at all.

Gotta love how threads go on tangents.

I think wonder woman toys released on the same model as the teen titans would be a good idea. Mostly 3.5" figures with some vehicles would be a great idea.

Personally, I hope Mattel makes the Wonder Woman figures to match the Batman Begins and Superman Returns toys, especially a 30" scale version! (hey, I'll take a movie Flash and Green Lantern in that scale, too!)
