I love them. They have great sculpts and paints jobs. IM just so happy taht even minor characters are given a place in figure form. Im not surprised since these things are sculpted by the legendary Four Horsemen. I cant wait for series 2. Does anyone know what chracters are in that series or any others? All I know is the Harlequin demon cause they released a pic. http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=139&itemid=7065

The line kicks much booty. It's one of NECA's best lines so far, and you're right - no surprise it was from the Four Horseman.
And the last I heard for the second wave was: -Harlequin Demon -Santa Jack -Dr. Finklestein -Witches (2pk) -Oogie Boogie Box Set.
I'm psyched for the Doc and Oogie Boogie.

Glad you like the stuff! Just wait until you see what we've got in store for series 3. They should be revealed at SDCC 2005. NBX is a line of figures that's near & dear to our hearts, all of us having been huge fans of the movie since it's original release. This is one of Eric Treadaway's favorite properties of all time, and he's in absolute heaven! Having NECA give us a chance to do these babies the way we think they should be done is quite an honor indeed. CORNBOY

I cant wait. You guys are doing such a great job. I have one question. Someone attended Toy Fair in NY and said that the oogie boogie figure was painted in a neon green. Is this true or is it painted like the one picutred above? Eitherway im excited about a boxset. It can give me a dirama to display them in.

I like them a lot but there's just a tinge of disappointment in me cause I was hoping for a Lock, Shock and Barrel three pack. But this is a brilliant line-up nontheless. I hope they do playsets as well by the way.

The one we did for Toy Fair was neon green, but only because we had a can of un-used neon green in the studio, and thought that he'd be the perfect guy to try it out on. It looked awesome like that. At the time it still hadn't been decided what colors were going to be used for the regular edition Oogie. I'm not sure that it's even been officially decided at this point. CORNBOY
