So I go into my toy room this morning, while I'm brushing my teeth and see that one of the figures has fallen off of my Public Enemies/JLA Classified Shelf.
A master at quick deduction at 6:15 am, I quickly see it is the Flash. "No Biggie" I think, as I pick him up to put him back on the shelf.
THEN I SEE IT.
Yes, his little "Ear Lightning Bolt" has broken off. No sign of it anywhere. I would postulate that one of my cats has eaten it.
Now I have to go buy a new Flash figure off ebay.
What a depressing way to start the day.

Sorry, man. Sucks when toys break.
My mom tells me that almost every XMas when I was a kid at least one toy would break or be broken. Well, you'd think with all that experience it'd get easier!

This happened to me last year. I had my AA Star Trek figures on a shelf and found one the next morning on the ground with his boot broken off.

My replacement finally came today...$11 all told on ebay.
Thank goodness that it wasn't one of my more expensive pieces...

Glad to hear you got a replacement. A relative of mine found me the ML X-Men boxed set way out in Western Kansas, two yrs after it was released. So you can imagine how pumped I was to get a Rogue. Pulled her out of the box, set her up in my display case, then noticed her left arm looked stupid in its position. Pulled her out and tried to reposition the arm... "snap". The break occurred under her jacket so it's not even visable, but I still wake up a night in a cold sweat. Oh the horror. It's like she's calling to me from the basement. "Broken. I'm broken. You must replace me. You must spend more money on me, even though I look like a manish hooker."
