I went to a Walmart and TRU last night.
Wandered around for a little bit, but the items I was interested in were long gone, so I didn't have to wait in the insane checkout lines.
Bummer is, I finally found the Imaginext Aquaman I had been looking for, but I wasn't willing to spend an hour in a line for just him.

I went out this afternoon, but didn't go out during the frenzy. Was hoping to find all 5 seasons of the BBT on BD for the mrs., but didn't have any luck. Was kind of bummed. Hopefully these will go on sale again and I can go down there during the week. Something in my gut says they will.

I went to Target earlier tonight. The toy aisle looked almost exactly the same as it had earlier in the week. I had hoped all the old stock would be gone or some new stock would have been put out - no such luck. I did see one new Transformer - but it was not the one part of Bruticus I still need.

I stopped going out on Black Friday about the time Hasbro stopped doing 12" Star Wars store exclusives and I've never regretted that choice!
We had family in town this weekend so we did drive by and show them the line in front of Target on our way to the movies.

The idea of dressing up like bears and attacking the people camped out in front of stores... really did sound alluring it spoke to the rambunctious teen inside me...

Uh, probably not. Remember what happened during the Dark Knight showing last summer?
That would have been a good way to get shot.

Don't have the money for it anyway, not even the makeup. CCC.

I popped into the TRU in Times Square at 8 on Friday morning before work. Remarkably, it was pretty empty. One of the cashiers said the throng had come earlier, but traffic petered out around 4 a.m. I picked up some gifts for my nephews and nieces. In and out.
