Toybizworldwide/Ebay Numbers for Day 3 Are Down

Day 3 of the Toybizworldwide/Ebay Figure Factory/Superhero Showdown pre-market auctions ended Wednesday evening. Overall sales figures were off about 30% from the first two days of the auctions. Of the 15 items that will be sold in stores in the coming weeks, on this day, Ebayers were only willing to bid slightly over twice as much as the total SRP. Total bids were $235.98 versus total SRP of $123.87.

The hottest figure appears to be the Punisher from the Superhero Showdown with a final bid of $33.00, $25.01 over SRP. The cheapest closed auction was for a Figure Factory Spiderman for $7.49, $1.50 over SRP. There was a tie for the highest playset bid, $26.00 for a Showdown Wolvy/Hulk and a Showdown Thing/Spiderman.
Two Figure Factory Mystery Figures sold; one for $17.00 and the other for $10.50.

The pre-market auctions continue through at least June 15th, 2005.
