I went in and last night and restored a lot of it, but it's not the complete version. Of course, this troll has gone in twice and deleted the whole page so it may be gone again.

If you just google lego batman 2 character list or something to that affect you will find a list. And as J1 mentioned ign (and many others) have guides as well as video walk throughs. I tried to stay away from them as long as possible but in order to earn every gold brick to get access to all the heroes you must go back to the missions in "free play" to locate them. And I got stuck at around 220 bricks so I broke down and used the video guides. 100% complete now and actually kinda bummed as I have no reason to play it anymore lol

There is always a reason to play it more.
Its just that much fun to roam around a Lego world.

I liked roaming around the lego world when there was a goal, finding bricks and archways etc, but now I feel theres no purpose to it. The one thing I dislike with Lego games is just smashing the heck out of the world. That part of it gets monotonous after awhile. I know kids probably love that lol. I greatly enjoyed getting the red bricks and kicking in the stud multipliers so I could break a few items and hit the superhero goal and be done with the whole "Hulk smash" thing lol
But with the addiction to the game still in my blood I ended up buying the original game from Ebay yesterday so Im looking forward to its arrival.
On a side note, who else just flew around Gotham using Superman enjoying the Superman Theme? THAT I really got a kick out of.

Yeah, I would do that as well. It's a great theme. Even better than the Batman theme IMHO.

Well as much as I love Danny Elfman-- there is nothing better than John Williams (at least just instrumentals..
(well maybe the Sherman Brothers (Jungle Book and other Disney) -- but most of their music has words)

So I'm starting to discover that the only gold bricks I'm missing are the ones that involve vehicles haha.

Resurrecting this because I have a question.
Apparently there are quite a few characters that are exclusive to the hand-held versions of the games. Anyone know if they will ever be available as DLC, or where I could even go to find out?

There were 2 DLC character packs, a heroes one and a villains one. Are they different than the characters in those?

Yes - I have those ten and they're awesome. Apparently there's quite a few characters that were available only for the handheld versions of the game. But some of them you can get randomly on missions by using the "Extra Toggle" extra. Asylum Inmate, Asylum Patient, Azrael, Batman (Classic Costume), Black Mask, Deadshot, Deathstroke, Diana Prince, Freeze Goon, Green Arrow, Joker (Tropical), Lady Shiva, Lexcorp Heavy, Lexcorp Security, Lucius Fox, Mr Zsasz, Penguin Minion, Poison Ivy Goon, Red Hood, Red Robin, Robin (Classic Suit), Scarecrow Goon, Superboy, Talia Al Ghul and Vixen. http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/LEGO_Batman_ ... per_Heroes Most of them I don't care about, but Black Mask, Deathstroke, Deadshot, Green Arrow & Vixen at least they should port over.

Tex, did u every find out about the other characters? I have the 2 DLCs with Shazam and Black Adam etc but Id be down for playing this game again from the begining if there was a way to have Vixen and Red Robin etc. The extra toggle thing never gave me a cool character, just random civilans and some horrible glitching. Like becoming a purple box
