The side missions are actually harder than the main story line. I also found a nice little secret completely by accident.



Regrading DLC, people accept it because it used to be that a game would be released and that was it. No patches, no updates, no new content. Now, games can be supported for as long as the developers choose to do so. And I think generally people vote with their wallet. If a company intentionally holds something back to charge extra then most people won't buy it. If they spend a few extra months designing new maps or characters and add something to the game they released then people are willing to pay a little more.

I got another couple hours in last night.

And died . . . twice.

But at least I found the Bane and Zsasz quests, saved a few political prisoners (including Jack Ryder . . . wonder if the Creeper is far behind).

But I still haven't found Catwoman yet. Haven't played her since the opening scene.

Shes in the court house if you didn't already go and save her from Two Face. If you did, it'll be a while before she shows up again.

What j1H said. Her location should be on the map if you used his Cryptographic Sequencer to listen to radio transmissions. Something else I'd suggest is changing the remote batarang settings to not, I repeat, not invert!! Not sure about the rest of you, but that was throwing me off a bit. How are folks handling the VI training or whatever they are calling it and how many waves are there? I finished up the first one's only to have another wave come up. I'm having a hard time with the one in the industrial area. I can get the first 4 but can't make it down to get the 5th one At this point I'm not sure if arthritis or carpal tunnel is setting in Still, this is the first game in a long time I haven't minded paying full price on. And that is coming from someone who is usually pretty cheap when it comes to games. I honestly think folks expect too much and somehow feel cheated when it comes to things. All I care about is if the game is fun

The AR training is really hard for me. I got past the first bit to upgrade the grapple but then I gave it up. I need to come back to it later

I've finished all but one on the second wave and it is a doozy. I'm actually debating on downloading the app on the iPhone to help me finish out the riddler challenges. Has anyone used this? PS: Thanks to those who are using spoiler tags. I'm not as far ahead and already had someone on Facebook ruin Gears of War 3 for me. Then I was on another board and someone gave what I feel is a major spoiler out on this game

I usually dont use guides- unless I am absolutely dumbfounded as to how to do something (and thats not until I have played it for a while and just trying to finish up (Like on Simpsons where I have 74 of the 75 collectibles for each character- and I have spent about 12 hours on my own wandering around the map trying to find them)

Part of the fun of this one is they got a lot more creative on the riddler challenges, and part of the fun is figuring out on your own-- (of course it sucks when I know what I need to do- and Batman is not cooperating.....)


Although I have to say I am really not a fan of the ultimate death trap rooms-- that apparently I cant beat until I have more stuff..

And I beyond suck at the VR challenges-- Im better at fighting than flying...

I kind of feel that way too Stew. I, once again find myself trying to finish up the last AR challenge. Same thing with online guides. I was down to 28 out of 30 COG tags in the first Gears of War game and ended up printing out a walkthrough and a youtube video to get those last two. Like you, I like to find things on my own and usually have no troubles, but it was driving me nuts!!

I go to the Guides only when I've spent every last resource trying to do it myself.

I don't have a ton of time to game these days, so I'll try to figure something out for about a half hour or so. After that, I move on to something else in the game. If I can't move on, then it's off to the interwebs for the solution.

I beat the AR challenge not once or even twice, but three times The first time I beat it I let out a WAHOO, sent a text to my wife and then ran up to let her know I finally beat it Great strip Stew, thanks for the link.

Well now I am at the point of trying to just get all the Question Marks and challenges (Im still working on the Azrael and Faceless Killer side quests (still have done a damn thing on this one-- need to find some bodies)

And regretting I didnt blow up all the cameras the first time I saw them..


Is Poision Ivy in this game -- our is she a side quest with just Catwoman.?

I've reached a stopping point with the Riddler side missions and need to find more riddles before he'll let me go on. I also need to switch over to Catwoman and go hunt down those trophies because I tagged quite a few that were just for her.

And I still haven't touched the Challenge maps. There's a ton of stuff in this game.

On the plus side-- I think I have all the marks on my map-- because Ive been running around for 3 or 4 hours--and have yet to see another green riddler enemy...
