The last thing I found for my collection was Ghost Rider (MU). Now I am just waiting for the Next Star Wars wave (I want Lando and Weequay only), 4" Thundercats when they hit, Generator Rex - Bobo Haha, Various MU figures. I was collecting the Joes but I am dropping them in favor of the 4" Thundercats.

Hey, Zonies.

Targets are starting to get DCUC Wave 16 in. I found Robin and a buddy of mine found Riddler. Both Targets were in the far east valley. Happy hunting!

The Stapley Walmart had some of the newest Clone Wars wave (Wolffe, El-les, etc.).

TRU has gotten some 6 inch Iron Man merchandise, but somebody beat me to the new Titanium Man. :(

Okay, not quite a what the thread is for, but . . .

Have any of you in the AZ area gone to the Phoenix Comicon? I hear it's growing quite a bit, and I'm wondering how it is for toys. Lots of vendors? Or just a few?

I know it's not gonna be on the order of SDCC, but it is worthwhile from the toy collector perspective?

Hey Guys,

The West Valley was lousy with GLC Wave 2 yesterday.

The N. 75th Ave., Dysart, and Estella Walmarts all off the I-10 probably had 4 cases worth between them. While heavy on the GL and RL's, I did see Sapphire, Yat, and the critter packs as well.

AZ guys - I don't usually do this, but it's for an old friend still in Phoenix, and he's not particularly web-savvy, so I'm helping him spread the word.

The first of weekly Collectible Super Shows is happening on June 4th, at the AZ Collector's Marketplace. It's located near Camelback and Central, in the Camelback Village Square center inside the former Blockbuster location.

His goal is to have weekly shows, focusing on different genres - action figures, cards, gaming, etc. He's run multiple stores and done many shows over the past 20 years, so (theoretically) it should be pretty good, and hopefully not just the usual scalpers.

http://azcollectorsmarketplace.com/home (please forgive his brutal site, I am trying to help on that too...)

If you have any questions, let me know and I will pass them along. Thanks!

If this thing grows into a Frank&Sons type thing for Phoenix, I'm gonna hold you personally responsible Superfly.

:) OK, but don't people in the general area of Frank&Son think that it totally feeds a secondary market that makes it really hard to find things at retail? Phoenix metro is pretty easy hunting compared to stories you hear from other places. (of course, I'll go check it out as well and probably feed the beast that I don't want to create).

Anyone else go to the toy show?

It wasn't bad... They need a bigger place though.

Here's some of the stuff I found...

Nice haul, Scar!!! Almost bought that Sectaurs figure. :D

We're talking about it a little over here:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=22133

If you don't mind, jot down your thoughts about the show in that thread. Let me know when you're going next.

Where is it exactly? It might be worth a look. East Valley? West Valley? Central?
