Harrisburg PA TRU had about a dozen of the All-Star metallic repaint of GL last night. Despite the fact that it's essentially no different from the earlier GL apart from the metallic tint to the green, I had to have one. What can I say? GL is my favorite character, always has been, and this is the best version from DCUC yet.

And I got a button. A $16 button.

You're right, it is a different costume. And when I re-read my post it really "sounds" like I'm moaning and complaining, when the truth is I was thrilled to find this figure and thrilled to bring him home. I have enough GL figures going back to Super Powers to start my own Corps, and I love each and every one of them, including this one. It was well worth what I paid, and the button was a nice bonus. Just sayin'.

Would you be able to pick one of those GLs up for me? I've been looking for him for awhile now but to no avail. I'd be willing to pay you or trade? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, Dork Knight, as you might have noticed, my posts were made back last May. Those figures are gone from the pegs now. You might have a second chance at a similar figure when the DCUC vs MOTU two pack of Hal Jordan vs. Zodac comes out, hopefully very soon now.
