Anyone know when the 2nd season starts? I haven't seen anything on the channel guide, I thought it started this month sometime...

Looks like it'll be November now. No sign of a new episode yet, and the DirecTV guide goes out about 9 days in advance. I certainly hope they don't wait until January like Young Justice did (save for the origin).

If that's true, then it'll be the best cartoon Friday night ever in my opinion. With new episodes from Avenger's EMH, Thundercats, Young Justice and Batman BTB. Whew. That's right on par with Saturday mornings when we were kids, no?

Last night I pulled out and watched the special features from my Captain America DVD. If you are an Avengers animated fan, you need to get this. There is a preview of season 2... I saw: Wasp walking and talking with Sue Storm, don't know if she is invisible girl or woman at this point. Kang is back. Kree/Skrull War. Ms Marvel. Dr. Doom. Vision. and some tweaks on the costumes, particularly Thor and Panther. CCC.

I seriously hope I'm wrong, but I think this is the first real announcement of when new episodes will be airing... April 1st. Here's the link: http://marvel.com/news/story/17929/disn ... er01102012

Reminds me of back in the 90's when they premiered a few episodes of X-Men and then we didn't see it for quite some time. As long as it is done right and worth the wait I'm ok with it. If I need my fix, I can always watch the first season on Netflix to keep me occupied.

I looked a little closer at my Cap dvd preview last night. I saw Mr. Fantastic and the Human Torch in action with the Avengers and Hulk going 1 on 1 with red Hulk. CCC.

Sounds about right. We can get 45 episodes a season for some crap like Beavis and Butthead but a good quality show gets tossed around on CN.

The plots, writing, and characterization are very good. The animation is decent, but not at Young Justice level (and, boy, do I wish it was). If you are an Avengers fan, you can't go wrong with this show. It's basically a greatest hits of Avengers stories brought up to the modern age.
It's definately in the top three of all the animated series Marvel has ever produced.
