Nope. Just repeats next week, sadly.

I thought this episode was okay. I'm not a huge Thor fan (Sorry, Cal) as a solo character, so today was a little disappointing.

Ah, well. Hopefully we'll get more episodes this summer. I'd hate to have to wait until the Fall.

is this the start of the repeats until next year? Hope Not it was getting good. i hate when they do that crap why cant they just show the entire season since we already know there will be no season 3?

Someone uploaded some advance episodes this weekend, apparently they were leaked somewhere and he tossed them up on a torrent site I know.

IMO, "Secret Invasion" should have been at least 2 episodes. And that's all I'll say for now

Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Cancelled

In a press release today, Marvel had this to say about Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes:

The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes won’t be renewed for the 3rd Season. Marvel Animation will present their newly developed series Marvel’s Avengers Assemble in 2013.

Accompanying this little press release was a teaser image for the upcoming animated show and it should come at no surprise that the line up is almost exactly the same as this summer's The Avengers with the addition of The Falcon. Check it out below.

Sad news. Was looking forward to season 2 dropping on Netflix and catching up. So is 2 season the going rate for animated shows these days? Still, if they keep the new one on the same frequency as this show I'll enjoy watching it eventually.

Hopefully, the quality writing and characterization will continue, but with better YJ level quality animation. EMH is a good show, but the animation always looked cheap to me.

Hmmm...really? I thought the animation was pretty good. It just had a different style than what we're used to. The one thing I don't want this to do is talk down to kids or fans for that matter. They've made some headway in the right direction with EMH and I'd hate to see them lose that with the new show.
